Sea Isle City Community Information

Sea Isle City, NJ is a vacation paradise and its slogan says it all- “Smile! You’re in Sea Isle!” From the top of the bridge heading into Sea Isle City you can see the glistening ocean, welcoming you into town. This is our happy place!

This small, friendly seashore community is located in the southern tip of NJ in Cape May County.  Sea Isle is well known for its 5 miles of beautiful and clean beaches and its mile and a half long, beachfront promenade, which runs from 29th to 58th Streets, which is ideal for biking, jogging, and in-line skating.

Sea Isle City is a great family destination and is much quieter, smaller and less crowded than many other towns in the area, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.  It offers a wide variety of things to do such as free concerts and family dance parties on the promenade, free movie nights, bayside and beachside parks and playgrounds, tennis courts and basketball courts. It also has a fantastic beachcombing program which is both fun and educational!   Need more excitement or looking for amusement rides? Atlantic City, Wildwood and Ocean City are very close by!

Sea Isle City has three diverse beach areas. The beaches at the Northern end are a little larger and quieter than their southern counterparts, are unguarded and there is no promenade in this area. The beaches in the center of town run along the promenade are guarded and are close to shops, restaurants and arcades. The southern beaches tend to be less crowded than the center of town beaches, and many of these beaches are also guarded.

We hope you enjoy and love Sea Isle City as much as we do!!

Tips for Finding the Perfect Neighborhood

1. Make a list of all of the amenities that are close by in the neighborhood you are considering as your new residence.  Keep in mind what distances and routes to each of these places are acceptable and what are not.

2. Determine what the best features of the neighborhoods are.  This is especially helpful if you are deciding between a few different neighborhoods.

Are there parks nearby?
Is it scenic and visually appealing?
Are there quiet areas, streets, culs de sac?
Are the people friendly in the neighborhood?
Is the neighborhood clean?  Yards, streets, parks?
Are there nice trees and foliage?
Do the lots have large or small yards?
Are there walkways and are they easily accessible?
Is it a safe neighborhood?
What are the market values of the homes in the area?
Are there many houses for sale?
How long ago was the community developed?
What is the average age of the people in the area?
Are there families with small children in the area?
What is the proximity to schools?
Are there community events or organizations?

3. Walk around in the neighborhood.  The best way to determine the cleanliness and friendliness of the neighborhood is to walk around in it and meet its residents.
